Robert Muresan may be the sole rider for the H-Moto team at Misano this weekend but that certainly didn’t slow him down, the Romanian claiming 14th on the grid ahead of tomorrow’s FIM Superstock 1000cc race.
Muresan, who claimed a career best 8th in the last event has brought renewed confidence to Italy and after encouraging Free Practice sessions yesterday during which he focused on set-up, he went on to produce a strong grid position in the one and only qualifying session.
The Misano World Circuit – Misano World Circuit always produces close racing and with only a small gap in terms of outright lap time between Robert and the top ten on the grid, tomorrow could be another positive race.
Robert Muresan – 14th on the grid: “Today I started the qualifying with old tyres. When I put on the new ones we had some front end trouble and my feeling was not good. I had traffic with some riders who held me up but these things happen. We are not please with P14 but we are very confident with all of our settings and I think that it’s possible to fight for the top ten tomorrow.
