Croatian Renato Novosel just missed out on a top 20 finishing position in difficult conditions after falling on the final lap at Assen yesterday in the second round of the European Superstock 600cc Championship.
The youngster who is making a full time appearance in the series this year with the experienced Go Eleven Kawasaki squad, relished riding at the rain soaked circuit improving from 36th on the grid and was unfortunate to fall at turn 8 after running so well.
Renato Novosel – Go Eleven Kawasaki: “In the dry I was improving with every session which is important for my progression but when the rain started I was smiling because I knew it would give me a better chance. I want to say a big thank you to all my sponsors, my family and my team for everything this weekend.”
