In FIM Stock 1000 Cup, H-Moto, Race Results

Robert Muresan returned to the FIM Stock 1000cc Cup championship in Jerez, once again riding for the H-Moto BMW team finishing a credible 17th in yesterday’s race.

The Romanian rider was impressive from the start having taken victory for the team in Slovakia a week earlier.

Running strongly in Free Practice, the team would struggle to manage the settings with the BMW in the warmer qualifying conditions, meaning Robert would start the final race of the season from 17th position.

As the lights went out, Muresan made an average start and at the end of the opening lap was outside of the top twenty.

Never giving up however, he fought hard putting in some impressive lap times which would eventually see him missing the final point by less than one second after  superb charge through the field.

The H-Moto team will now move to Almeria as their 2014 preparations begin in earnest. They would however like to thank all of their associated sponsors and both of the riders Alen Gyorfi and Robert Muresan for their efforts in the FIM Stock 1000cc Cup this season.
