In Alen Gyorfi, FIM Stock 1000 Cup, Race Results

H-Moto were back in action for the penultimate round of the FIM Stock 1000cc Cup at the Magny-Cours in France with Hungarian Alen Gyorfi once again in the saddle after missing the past few races due to the injuries he sustained at Imola earlier in the season.

Gyorfi, who has a career best 6th position finish in the class (Monza 2012), has been working hard to regain full fitness and rode well throughout the weekend to qualify in 25th position.

The race was initially red flagged after a high speed incident involving a couple of riders, both thankfully escaped serious injury. The restarted race was run over a reduced distance of 9 laps and Gyorfi rode competently to secure 21t at the flag.

The final round of this year’s championship will take place at the Jerez circuit in Spain in a fortnight with the championship winner already decided courtesy of today’s result which saw French rider Sylvain Barrier finish 4th in the race to clinch his second consecutive title on home soil.

H-Moto will however venture to Spain with Robert Muresan, who rode in Germany riding the bike once again as Alen starts to prepare for 2014.
