With the eni WSBK Superbike Championship back in action next weekend after a short summer break, we ask you to join us for the pre-race media event on Thursday 29th August, starting at 2pm local time.

With more than 20 riders, including some well known local and IDM Superbike riders scheduled to take part in the German round of this year’s series, the focus in the Eiffel Mountains isn’t only on the battle at the front as there is some real interest for the home crowd to cheer.

The idea behind our media event at the Nurburgring is to ask our riders to make a ‘lap’ inside the “Motor Mania” exhibition area on the funny machines you can see. There will then be a photo opportunity for all assembled media and fans, followed by a Q&A session in the same area conducted by our resident WSBK Paddock Show host Michael Hill.

When: Thursday 29 August at 2.00 pm

Where: Nurburgring Motor Mania – ring°werk entrance

Riders that have been invited and are expected to attend:

WSBK

Max Neukirchner – MR-Racing Ducati
Sylvain Guintoli – Aprilia Racing Team
Marco Melandri – BMW Motorrad GoldBet SBK Team
Loris Baz – Kawasaki Racing Team
Jonathan Rea – Pata Honda World Superbike Team
Jules Cluzel – FIXI Crescent Suzuki

WSS
Sam Lowes – Yakhnich Motorsport Yamaha

One Event
Matej Smrz – Yamaha Motor Deutschland  / Markus Reiterberger – Team VanZon Remeha BMW

We look forward to seeing as many members of the media and as many fans there as possible. Please also remember that immediately following the TISSOT Superpole, both eni World Superbike races and the World Supersport race the paddock show press conferences are free to attend for media and spectator alike. They are well known for bringing you all of the emotion direct from the track and our host Michael Hill normally has few tricks up his sleeve, adding some humour to proceedings.
