In FIM Stock 1000 Cup, H-Moto

With their regular rider Alen Gyorfi still not fully fit, the H-Moto FIM Superstock 1000cc team have once again called in the services of Romanian Robert Muresan to campaign their BMW machine at the upcoming German round at the Nurburgring.

Muresan had a successful debut with the team, taking a double victory at the Panonia-ring circuit in Hungary last week and is looking forward to being back in the World Superbike paddock, having previously raced in the World Supersport championship for the the PTR Honda team.

Robert Muresan: “I am very happy that I have the opportunity to race again at World championship level together with the H-moto team. There is a little pressure because it will only be my second race on a 1000cc bike but after 3 years of racing away from the World Superbike paddock I can’t wait to get back there and have some fun.”

H-Moto have switched to BMW machinery after several seasons with Honda, and were just starting to reap the rewards until Alen Gyorfi was injured at Imola.

It is not known at this stage if H-Moto will run 2 machines for the final races of the season but dependent on the results in Germany, Muresan could well find himself in discussions about the available seat in their 2014 World Superbike EVO outfit as indeed could Gyorfi who has been with the team for a number of seasons already.
