In Alen Gyorfi, FIM Stock 1000 Cup

The Hungarian H-Moto BMW team have today announced that they will miss this weekend’s FIM Superstock 1000cc Cup double header at Silverstone, revealing that their rider Alen Gyorfi is recovering from a broken ankle sustained at the previous Imola round several weeks ago.

The team are understandably disappointed to be missing the two races, especially since their progress since switching to BMW power is clear for all to see.

Kristian Kelemen – Team Manager: “We were in discussions with the doctors until the last possible moment but they advised that the broken bone in Alen’s leg is not sufficiently healed. It is important for us that Alen is fully fit and we will therefore miss this weekend’s races in the UK but aim to be back in Germany at the Nurburgring.”

The team wish to thank everyone who has sent text messages, emails or facebook messages for the kind words for Alen and his recovery.
