Aussie hotshot and former European Junior Cup champion Matt Davies made an impressive start in the first qualifying session for the 2nd round of this year’s World Supersport championship at Motorland Aragon, Spain earlier today.
Matt, who at 17 is the youngest rider in the series ended the session in a provisional 22nd on the grid aboard his PTR Honda.
Matt Davies – Team Honda PTR: “It was a good session. We have found a really good setting with the bike and we are moving forward. There is more to come in the morning and I am confident that we can improve our grid placing tomorrow.”
Final qualifying is scheduled to take place at 1605 local time.
