Danish rider Alex Schacht salvaged 29th position on the provisional grid for Sunday’s opening World Supersport race despite a huge crash in this morning’s free practice session.
The talented Dane who progresses to the World Supersport class after a successful 2012 in Superstock managed only 5 laps in official qualifying but is hopeful of improving tomorrow.
Schacht joins Imre Toth in the Racing Team Toth camp for this years championship which begins at the Phillip Island circuit, Australia on Sunday.
