The 8th round of the UEM European Superstock Championship was a weekend of ups and downs for talented Aussie Matt Davies.
Having overcome a gearbox problem in qualifying to qualify in a respectable 19th position, the hard charger from Australia once again proved that he has the talent to mix it with the very best in Europe with a spirited ride through the field.
Having settled into a good rhythm, Matt has progressed well into 12th and was looking odds on to claim another point scoring finish when he slid off his Racedays Kawasaki towards the end of the race.
Obviously disappointed not to finish, Matt is looking forward with confidence to the final two rounds of this year’s series and aims to end 2012 on a high.
