Racing Team Toth’s newest recruit Alex Schacht is looking to put a difficult opening two days behind him when the lights go out for the first round of the World Supersport championship tomorrow.

Two crashes in as many days and a few minor technical problems leave the talented Dane in 32nd position overall but the rider who placed 4th overall in last year’s UEM European Superstock 600cc series is focused on obtaining a solid result on race day.

Alex Schacht (32nd) – ‘The second qualyfying session was not so good. I had to get use to the bike again after the big crash. The clutch broke down again, and on the final lap I had my Best split sections. In the second sector Iwas 14th  and in the third sector I was 18th but I crashed again going in to turn 10. It’s disappointing but I am ready for the race tomorrow.’

The opening round of the 2013 WSS Championship will run over 15 laps at 1330 local time.
