In Matt Davies, Qualifying, World Supersport

Matt Davies suffered his second crash in two days at the iconic Imola circuit earlier today as a tumble in the final qualifying session ended any chances he had of improving his grid position ahead of tomorrow’s 4th round of the World Supersport championship.

With the ‘one bike’ rule enforced in 2013, the experienced PTR Honda team had their work cut out to fix the damage and get the talented young Aussie back on track. In the end time ran out meaning Matt will begin from the 10th row in 28th position.

Despite the crashes Matt is unhurt and will be able to take his place on the grid for the 19 lap race which is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 1330 local time.
