Alex Schacht found it hard going in the final qualifying session for the 6th round of the World Supersport championship in Portimao this afternoon.
The young Dane continues to adapt to life as a World Supersport rider but knows that over the coming races he must push himself even further to produce the strong results that he has shown previously.
31st on the grid is not where he or the team want to be but they are working well and pushing in the right direction to allow Alex to excel as the year progresses.
Grid Position: 31st
The race tomorrow is scheduled to run at 1330 local time over 20 laps of the undulating Portuguese circuit and as always Alex will be pushing hard for the best result possible.
Alex Schacht – Racing Team Toth: “We had a small problem at the beginning of qualifying so we used the first part of the session to solve it. I can’t blame the team for the result today. I need to start pushing harder and taking more risks to get the results that I know we can achieve. I will try 100% in the race tomorrow.”
