In Jake Lewis, Race Results

Inaugural winner of the PATA European Junior Cup powered by Honda, Jake Lewis was back at the front of proceedings in the opening free practice of the weekend at Monza, Italy for round 3 of this year’s championship.

After a crash Assen a fortnight ago, the former series leader was in determined mood, securing 3rd place overall at the end of the 45 minute session.

The session was a pretty uneventful one for Jake with only a few minor suspension changes needed to his Honda CBR500ccR machine.

Jake Lewis – 3rd position: “It’s been a good start to the weekend and it’s good to be back at the front after what happened in Holland. The bike was awesome today and I want to say a big thank you to my dad for all of his hard work. Tomorrow should be dry so hopefully we can repeat today’s result. I want to be on the front two rows and will be doing my best to make it happen.”

Official qualifying will take place tomorrow at 1330 local time with the race scheduled to run over 7 laps at 1435 local time on Sunday.
