After an impressive 5th position on the grid in Moscow, Suriano Suzuki’s Alex Baldolini was once again close to the top in final qualifying for the 9th round of the World Supersport championship, grabbing 16th position on the grid, less than one second from the fourth fastest time.
The Suzuki continues to improve and Alex is confident of a strong race performance tomorrow.
Alex Baldolini – Suriano Suzuki Team: “16th is not as bad as it seems but I was hoping for a higher starting position. The times are all really close and I just needed a bit more luck to get that ‘lucky’ lap. Tomorrow will be a nice fight, we have made some changes for the warm up to try to improve some more. I can only say that it will be ‘full gas’ in the race.”
The 16 lap race is scheduled to start at 1330 local time.
