Balazs Nemeth’s season of frustration continues after final qualifying for the Russian round of the World Supersport championship saw the Complus SMS Honda rider in 30th position on the grid.

The likeable Hungarian suffered another tumble yesterday morning and with the Complus SMS team left to rebuild the Honda machine, Balazs was left with limited track time in opening qualifying.

The weather at the Moscow Raceway played a big part in the outcome of the grid today, as a rain shower shortly before the all important final session prevented any rider from improving.

Nemeth will now regroup overnight and push hard for a strong result in tomorrow’s race which is scheduled to start at 1330 local time.

Balazs Nemeth – 30th on the grid:Yesterday I had a crash in the first free practice. My back, knee and my finger were injured and for the first qualifying session my team couldn’t repair completely my bike. Today it was raining in the morning and in the qualification the track was too wet. For the last 5-10 minutes the track was getting dry but my lap time was only good enough for 30th position on the grid. Tomorrow I will race with painkillers because I have some pain but I will try to do my best.”
