In Jake Lewis, Qualifying

Kiwi Jake Lewis has qualified in a solid 4th position ahead of the 3rd round of the PATA European Junior Cup powered by Honda at Monza, Italy this afternoon.

Lewis who won the opening round of this year’s series has been fast all weekend and is confident of challenging at the sharp end come race time tomorrow.

It looked as though Lewis may have had enough to jump onto row one in the dying seconds but a group of slower riders halted that charge.

That aside, Jake is happy with the performance and set up the bike and with the work that has been achieved so far this weekend.

Jake Lewis – 4th position on the grid: “I’m really happy with today’s result. 4th is a good place to start the race tomorrow from, especially here because everyone is so close. Of course the front row would have been better but I am confident of running at the front tomorrow.”

The race is scheduled to take place at 1435 local time tomorrow over 7 laps.
