14 year old Jayson Uribe from California will return to his own Rock and Sons Racing team for the remainder of the 2013 BSB Motostar championship after beginning the season with Cresswell Racing.

The youngster from the US suffered a series of mechanical failures and crashes on his UK debut at Brands Hatch in early April and things didn’t improve much at Thruxton a fortnight ago.

Having previously ridden under the Rock & Sons banner in the states for 6 years and taking into account Jayson’s progress and results in the opening two races of this year’s championship, Uribe has today announced that he will make the transition back to his former team.

His sponsors fully back this decision and will continue to support him for the rest of 2013 where it is hoped that he will have the opportunity to show his true potential.

In addition, Jayson has engaged Michael Hill to manage his official press releases and media.

Jayson Uribe – “The start to this year has been very hard for me. I need to be on a bike that I can trust or our goals for this year will not be met. After a lot of discussions with my family and my sponsors back home we have decided to part company with Cresswell Racing with immediate effect. I’d like to wish Cresswell Racing all the best for the future and I am now looking forward to Oulton Park for round 3.”
